Sonia Firme won the multi-state Lucky for Life game on January 2 after her first five numbers matched that night's drawing. She said she started playing those same random numbers about six months ago and doesn't plan to stop despite the win.
Firme was entitled to $25,000 a year for life for her win, but she chose the lump sum payment of $390,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.
She plans to use the money to buy a home.
Firmer bought the ticket at A&A Liquors and Market at 115 Hampson St. in Dract.
